PagerDuty Ringtones
The sounds you share are great, but how can I download the sounds to my device to make ringtones? We hope you will respond soon.

To use custom ringtones, all you need is to enable PagerDuty app push notifications on your device!
It’s been over 8 years now, is there still no way to select custom ringtones/alert sounds for PagerDuty? I already have the sound I want on my phone, and I can assign it to phone calls, texts, etc but the PagerDuty app does not “detect” the sound so I’m unable to select it.
Hey @scott.schramm, that’ss unfortunately not possible for our iOS app as we have no ability to access users’s ringtones & alerts.
@xenda.amici Thanks for the reply. If it’s impossible to access the custom sounds installed in iOS, then would it be possible for the PagerDuty app to have an “import” mechanism where the user can upload their custom sound directly into the app so it can be selected that way?
The problem with the currently available sounds is that they are all very annoying and jarring. If I’m paged at 3 AM while trying to sleep, I want a sound that starts quietly and slowly increases the volume so I’m peacefully woken up, not a loud noise that causes a panic attack.
“Canada Goose” and “On call, Take the Fall” are the closest options to something that gradually increases in volume but are far too annoying.
